Korean Cinema: The New Hong Kong has been selected as the textbook for this fall semester's course "Asian Media (BECA 488)", taught by Assistant Professor Chul Heo at the Broadcast and Electronic Communication Arts Department at San Francisco State University.

Korean Cinema: The New Hong Kong is now courseware! At the University of Southern California (USC) East Asian Languages & Cultures Department, my book is now the required textbook in Assistant Professor Jin-hee Kim's fall-semester course EALC 335m Literature of the Korean People.

Meanwhile, at the University of Essex in the United Kingdom, my book is a suggested reading for second-year students taking LT207 World Cinema from the Department of Literature, Film, and Theatre Studies in the 2003-2004 academic year.

I managed to land another cover feature again in the latest issue of Asian Cult Cinema (#40). Inside, you will find "Sassy Girls & Funny Gangsters", an article covering the comedies of South Korea.
